| The Old Saint
Old Saint Nicolas, a man whose heart was pure as gold, Whose face always smiled, his laugh never cold.
Old Saint Nicolas, who learned of his wife’s demise, And clad himself in black entire, walking now with saddened
eyes.
One day hence where will he be? Will Old Saint Nick be laying gifts below your tree?
Or will you behold upon awakening on Christmas day, A note on tear-stained parchment that does simply say:
“None can foresee a loved one’s passing, Though the effects are everlasting. So take no one for granted, lad or lass, For who can know when that breath will be their last?”

| Thy tongue, it lies. Thy wit, it dies. But were it not for it: Thy dying wit which, lying, dies. Thy lying tongue which, crying, lies. Would there, should there, could there be, Such humor found, In mine own laughing eyes? The answer, I say, is nay. | | |
| Dad, if you read this, send me the office phone number so I can call you please. Also, if you could get in touch with the Scotts and find out how I can contact Eric and David, that'd be awesome. ^_^
Matt, if you read this, GET IN TOUCH! If you're in the US now, give me your number so I can send you a line. Laterz.
Everyone else, I'll finish this later, gotta go. >.>
| I am still around, yes, 'tis true.
I am also now 20 years old. ^_^
Mississippi is HOT as the deepest pits of hell. And humid too. I don't like it here very much, but at least we have air conditioning in the buildings.
I've started classes here at Keesler, fixing to become a 3C031, which is a computer systems operator. My average grade so far in school is a 98.4%, which is the top in my class. To be expected of course.
The way things are looking right now, I'll be finished here by September 20th, and then I'll be going to Shaw AFB, South Carolina for my first active duty station.
Not much happening besides classes... they keep me pretty busy. ><
Hope everyone's doing well.
